Christmas Celebrations Continue at London’s Landmark Hotels
Like many Londoners, the Craster team are celebrating a return to some of the things we love about our home city this festive season. In the spirit of the holidays, we are rounding up how our colleagues at London’s landmark hospitality venues are bringing the warmth of this season to their guests. Featuring everything from the traditional, convivial English Christmas decor at Claridge’s to the austere sophistication of the Shangri-La at the Shard, London’s landmark hotels are guaranteeing a very merry stay.
ME London
Defying London’s icy Decembers with chic private igloos on their iconic Radio Rooftop, ME brings COVID-safe festivities to new heights. With views over Somerset House and Aldwych, ME treats guests to private dining and cocktails in single-party igloos frosted in festive dressings.

The Athenaeum
A “champagne-fuelled” stay awaits guests at the ever-astonishing Athenaeum. Aside from the cyclopean baubled Christmas tree in St James’s, the Athenaeum’s townhouse accommodations feature complimentary fizz and festive decor.
Claridge’s
From the talk-of-the-town tree to the breath-taking decorations, Claridge’s is synonymous with Christmas in London. This year’s dazzling festoon over the signature Art Deco entry gives way to a gleaming winter lobby that the Craster team cannot wait to visit.
The Berkeley
With a quieter-than-usual November, the Berkeley’s famous snowfall lights were unveiled in a magical, intimate gathering. With festive gatherings and travel on the horizon, the Berkeley is sure to delight as always.
The Savoy
The Strand’s crown jewel, the Savoy set the standard for hospitality worldwide. Their 2020 Christmas decor is no different, with a distinct twist; guests may recognise the kindness of a colleague or friend by making a wish for them. The Savoy will grant 25 of those wishes, a wonderfully warm and heartfelt addition that matches the regal decor.
The Langham
Simmering in luxury, the Langham’s rooms are ripe for guests to indulge in a spectacular festive stay. Spread between their iconic eateries, guests can also experience the exquisite gastronomy the Langham has on offer while savouring the monolithic Christmas decor.
The Corinthia
While London was slumbering in November, the Corinthia’s team were placing the final dashes of sparkle on their maze of Christmas trees. Preserved oranges, bundles of cinnamon and pine cones decorate the indoor forest and promise a sensory delight for guests.
Shangri-La
With their sights firmly set on 2021, London’s Shangri-La is featuring in-room celebrations for guests to ring in the new year.
Honourable Mention: The Four Seasons Hampshire
It may not be a London hotel, but the Craster team adore the Four Seasons’ Hampshire outpost. From a festive afternoon tea to an indulgent Christmas Day lunch courtesy of executive chef Paolo Belloni, there’s plenty in store for guests aside from the sumptuous English countryside.
To our colleagues close to home and far away, we hope to support you where possible with consultations on safe openings and gatherings. For any questions or aspirations for the festive period, please get in touch.
From all of us at Craster, we wish you a warm and connected festive season.
