In-House Sales Executive Apply

An integral part of the Sales Team, we are hiring for two telesales agents due to growth in this department. The role focuses on delivering sales revenue and leads through a phone and email approach to existing and new clients.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Role – Deliver Sales revenue by direct contact to existing hotels (1’s & 2’s).  Function is brand introduction and qualifying project potential.

Outbound

Cycle calls: Follow set outbound call cycle (80-100 calls/day) to:

o Sell-in set cycle, promotional & new product sales activity. Identify and capture general sales, range selling & up-selling 

o Prepare, set and update (on an ongoing basis) call priority 

Identify and capture larger lead/project opportunities (by 1st qualifying and

o then for follow up by Field Sales Managers)

Look for customer referrals & new sales leads

New Client Prospecting: Calling & Sending emails to introduce Craster to potential clients and create new Opportunities 

Booking & Arranging Sales Meetings for Field Sales

Opportunity/Quotation Follow-up: Work closely with the In-House Consultant for the region to follow-up on new Opportunities created and create quotes with them to sell or close all outstanding 'Opportunities' & 'Quotations' for the Region

Campaign Support:  Complete and support set marketing campaigns in your region 

 

Database Management

Keep client database updated for your region(s) – adding new contacts / updating roles/adding new properties/Ensuring all Clarity fields are complete & up-to-date

Ensure duplicate companies and contacts are properly updated in the system

 

Support

GENERAL REPRESENTATIVE AND FIELD SALES SUPPORT

Support Reps and field sales to ensure they maximize their time selling 

Occasionally attending shows to assist in show set-up / managing sales leads / talking to potential new clients 

Following new trends and suggesting alternative ways to market to our clients

Track & report competitor activity

Track & manage sample send outs to maximize the sales opportunity 

Where required offer cover & support to other Regions

 

Inbound Sales – support 

1st point of contact for incoming client contact– either via email or phone.  Qualifying client’s project and determining best next steps to assist them 

Send out catalogues to the potential clients or to update existing clients

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in an active sales or client support role

Confidence in working directly with a client on the phone & face to face

Experience in working within a sales team – supporting field sales 

Pro-active management & improvement of the customer experience.

Self-management required as team is often traveling and times in office may conflict
